First pilot trip - planning stage

Meeting of INCONE60 project leader, WP5 leader and Sigma Maritime Consultants took place in the headquarters of Port of Oostende on November 13.

Work has begun on the organization of the first pilot trip. During the meeting, the route was planned based on the technical parameters of small ports in the South Baltic region, technical parameters of inland waterways and in accordance with the project assumptions.

With the help of software for modeling transport costs, numerous simulations were carried out, which will be the basis for further actions.

The next step will be negotiations with shipowners and small port managements that will participate in this event.
