One step closer to transmodality!

Organization of the first pilot trip will bring us one step closer to transmodality. It will take place on the route Vordingborg - Stepnica - Kołobrzeg between 22 - 24 September 2020, according to the following schedule:

  • 22 September 2020 - Vordingborg, 10.00 - 14.00 hrs

  • 23 September 2020 - Stepnica, 10.00 - 14.00 hrs

  • 24 September 2020 - Kołobrzeg, 10.00 - 14.00 hrs.

This trip aims to present the possibility of servicing such cargo ships in local ports located in the area of the Baltic Sea Region. It is also an opportunity to establish cooperation between ports and run new regular shipping lines. 

In each port where the ship will call at, the meeting with interested stakeholders will take place. During these meeting will be discussed such issues as cooperation possibilities, development of the existing business network, and new contact will be established. 

Besides, we will present the INCONE60 Cargo Flow Model - a tool created within the project that will support the development of short sea shipping by showing the benefits of choosing SSS as the final and main mean of transport.
